90% of the French air cargo passes through Paris-CDG. The area has strategic transport routes that make the area as the first logistics hub of the whole Paris Region with 20% of the regional logistics area. E-commerce leaders such as Veepee, Amazon, Cdiscount have chosen to establish themselves on Paris-CDG Airport Area for its strategic positioning and multimodality. 20 logistics parks of 1000 hectares are installed there; they serve in particular luxury brands such as Chanel, Lancel and L’Oréal.
The cargo ship, with 2.2 million tons in 2019 or 90% of the transport in France is strongly represented with 3 dedicated logistics hubs worldwide known: Air France Cargo, La Poste and Fedex which has installed its European hub on Paris-CDG. Its capacity can reach 3.6 million tons of goods.
